From
the Board of Commissioners
Neumann
College’s newly released Summer 2006 quarterly publication, Accent,
highlights the college’s beloved and respected president, Dr.
Rosalie M. Mirenda.
As the article states, “Dr. Rosalie
M. Mirenda has forged a reputation as a tireless advocate and
savvy visionary during her ten years in the president’s
chair…”
We, the board of commissioners,
congratulate Dr. Mirenda and her dedicated staff at Neumann
College for the work that they do on a daily basis for the
enrichment of their students and residents of our township.
Congratulations
to Cathy and Joseph Possenti on the birth of their daughter, Giana
Marie. Cathy and Joe
welcomed their little one into the world on Wednesday, August 23
at 11am.
Next
month’s issue of Township Times will highlight Aston-Beechwood
and Green Ridge Fire Companies as we acknowledge the month of
October as Fire Prevention Month.
Frank Murphy, vice president and 6th ward
commissioner, will provide interesting facts and an informational
overview on our volunteer firefighters.
