(NIMS). NIMS provides a consistent nationwide template to enable all government, private sector, and nongovernmental organizations to work together during domestic incidents.

The Board of Commissioners is proud to announce that Richard Lehr, Carol Thompson, and Ralph Maiden have completed the basic training necessary to be IS700 certified and as such are qualified to assist in resolving problems resulting from domestic incidents. They join the entire uniformed officer staff of the Aston Police Department, who are all NIMS-certified to serve Aston residents in time of crisis.

Spring forward….
On March 11 at 2 a.m., millions of Americans will turn their clocks forward by an hour, so don’t be surprised, it’s three weeks earlier this year.

 New Happenings on Concord Rd

There is plenty “new” happening on Concord Road south of Bridgewater. Earth moving and new signs tell part of the story, but behind the curtain a lot more is happening than meets the eye. The obvious is the earth moving adjacent to the Aston Presbyterian Church. The construction is underway for twenty-four new town homes from the church property to Baldwin Run Lane.
