Last
month our Township informally inaugurated a memorial in honor of
our nation’s treasured Veterans and loved ones who made
sacrifices in order to provide and protect the freedoms we enjoy.
But as we honor those who have sacrificed so much, we can't help
but think that our way of life depends not only on past heroism
but also that of the future.
Who
will carry the torch of freedom in the future? Who will fight for
our freedoms? Who will represent us here in Aston, in Harrisburg
and in Washington? Where are the leaders of tomorrow? Leadership
requires insight, knowledge, and sacrifice.
