Professional Profiles

Mr. Paul M. Robinson, Eastern Regional Manager for Central Tax Bureau of Pennsylvania, Inc. has a strong, professional background in the collection industry for over twenty years.  Paul possesses a true understanding of the workings of municipalities and local governments.  He began his career with Central Tax Bureau of Pennsylvania, Inc. in 1999 after working for many years in the City of Philadelphia in the area for collection of delinquent taxes.

Paul is committed to creating and maintaining one-on-one relationships with residents and business owners.  “I believe in an open door policy and cultivating a strong community base,” says Paul, “The client always comes first.”

Paul offers the following information for residents who may not be aware of the facts that surround the responsibility in paying the 1% earned income tax.  Quarterly payments are scheduled to be received by the Central Tax Bureau on or before March 31; June 30; September 30; and December 31.

“For anyone who has questions, I encourage them to stop by the office and pick up a copy of ‘Earned Income/Net Profits Tax Questions and Answers’ or to logon to our website at: www.centaxgroup.com. ”  Paul continues, “As always, I can be reached by telephone at 610-497-6030.  My desire is to help those that need assistance in understanding the 1% earned income tax and paying these taxes on a timely basis. My staff and I are here to help the residents of Aston Township in any way possible.”

Aston Township’s Fire Marshal, Tom Morgan, has been actively involved in a variety of professional roles for most of his life.  Tom became our township’s fire marshal in 1995 and seven years prior to that time he served as assistant fire marshal.  A resident of Aston Township since 1985, Tom was hired in 1981 as a paramedic at Crozer Chester Medical Center.  At the young age of 16 Tom became a volunteer firefighter.  “I was born and raised at the Brookhaven Fire House.  I worked along side of my Dad who taught me everything I needed to know.  Not only was my Dad a firefighter, so was my uncle, brothers,

and cousins.  We were all involved,” says Tom. After graduating Sun Valley High
School, Tom attended Delaware County Community College’s paramedic school.  His thirst for knowledge and desire to help others quickly enabled him to

climb through the ranks beginning as an EMT driver and achieving status as a paramedic that ranged in titles from Lieutenant, to Captain, and then to Major.  In his EMT training, 200 hours of school study was required that included CPR, and basic first aid.

His training in the field as paramedic required 18 months of intense study. In addition to classroom training he was required to participate in on-the-job training and work 200 to 400 hours, side-by-side, with experienced paramedics.  Tom is licensed to administer medications when required, is fully trained to assist a patient who is in cardiac crisis, and has delivered many newborns.

As fire marshal of our township, Tom works closely with our township engineer to ensure that the safety of our residents is secured.

Tom has taught and continues to teach emergency management system courses and strategies at Penn-Delco, Garnet Valley, and Marple Newtown school districts, and also Widener College. Authoring an Emergency Management Plan for both Penn-Delco School District and Aston Township, Tom continues to keep abreast of all new developments in this field and continues to enhance his education.

Tom was deployed with an EMS Strike Team from October 15, 2005 to October 30, 2005 and served in New Orleans, Louisiana, during their recent devastation to offer his assistance and expertise to those in crisis.

Tom, you are a valued member of our community and we are proud to have you on staff!
