organizations supported by American Legion Post 926 include the
Aston Valley Baseball League, Post 926 Baseball League, Sun
Devil’s Baseball League, American Cancer Society, ALS
Association, Scotland School for Veterans’ Children, Keystone
Boys State, Elsmere and Coatesville VA hospitals, Sun Valley ROTC,
Aston-Beechwood and Green Ridge fire companies in addition to many
more.
Commander John Burrell served in the
United States Army from 1961-1964 during the Panama Crisis
Conflict as Sgt. E5. He
has been actively involved with the American Legion for the past
24 years; the last 5 years serving in the capacity of finance
officer. Commander
Burrell will be installed as American Legion department historian
for the state of Pennsylvania at a special event held in
Pittsburgh on July 16, 2006.
The American Legion Post 926 offers a
variety of services and financial support to our veteran’s and
their families along with many charitable organizations.
