Do you ever wonder what becomes of the leaves that are
collected during the fall months by our township’s public works
department? Leaves are
processed as compost and can be used for gardens and landscaping
purposes to create perfect curb appeal! In the back area of the township municipal building, we have
a compost crop that is available, free of charge, to any Aston
resident who wishes to utilize this environmentally-friendly
service. Residents may
visit our compost site from 7am to 3pm, Monday through Friday.
