680.01   AIR GUNS; BOW AND ARROW.        

(a)                No person shall use, store, sell or offer to expose for sale in lots of less than one dozen each, or have in his possession, within the limits of the Township, any air gun, air pistol, spring gun, bow and arrow, firearm or any other implement, which impels, or is designed or intended to impel, by force, a bullet, a pellet or missile designed to be shot from a bow, gun, pistol or firearm, except as authorized by Act of June 3, 1937, P.L. 1225, as amended. 

(b)               The police of the Township are hereby authorized and directed to seize, remove and destroy any air gun, air pistol, spring gun, bow and arrow, firearm or any other implement which impels, or is designed or intended to impel, by force, a bullet, a pellet or other missile designed to be shot from a bow, gun, pistol or firearm found in the possession of any person within the Township, whether on public or private grounds or premises, held or possessed in violation of subsection (a) hereof.

680.02   BLASTING.

(a)   No person shall blast rock, stone or other materials, or cause the same to be blasted, in the Township, without first having obtained a permit for the same from the Board of Township Commissioners.

(b)   All dynamite shall be kept in a secure and approved manner, but in no case shall more than fifty pounds of dynamite be kept at one time in any one place.

(c)   Each blast is to be covered with approved blasting mats and heavy timber.

         (d)  No blasting shall be done between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a. m. of the following day.

(e)  All applicants are required to pay a fee of five dollars ($5. 00) for each and every blast at each particular location or project with a maximum daily charge of fifteen dollars ($15. 00) for each separate location or project. The applicant shall deposit the fifteen dol­lars ($15. 00) maximum daily charge upon application and shall be entitled to a refund of that portion thereof, if any, not due to the Township under the provisions hereof.
