810.01 USE OF LOUDSPEAKERS; PERMIT; FEE.
No person shall use voice or mechanical sound amplification equipment for commercial advertising purposes in a motor vehicle without having first applied for and obtained a permit therefor from the Township. Upon proper application, the Township shall issue a permit upon the payment to the Township of five dollars ($5. 00) by the applicant.
810.02 BILL
POSTING
AND HANDBILLS.
(a) No person shall post, place or attach on or upon any tree, pole, fence or other structure in or along any of the streets, alleys or sidewalks within the Township, any circular, handbill, poster, temporary sign or other advertising matter without having first secured a permit therefor from the Township Secretary.
(b) Any person desiring to post, place or attach such circular, handbill, poster, temporary sign or other advertising matter on or upon any tree, pole, fence or other structure in or along any of the streets, alleys or sidewalks within the Township shall first register with the Township Secretary, stating the name and address of the person desiring to post or place such material, and furnishing such other information as may be reasonably necessary. Upon such registration being completed, the Township Secretary shall issue a permit which shall specify the time within which it shall be removed. No fee of any kind shall be charged in connection with such registration and/or issuance of a permit.
(c) If the circulars, handbills, posters, temporary signs or other advertising matter are not removed or taken down on or before the expiration date provided in the permit, the Township Secretary shall give notice in writing to the person to whom the permit has been issued directing him to remove the material within ten days of the date of the notice. Such material shall be taken down and removed within the time period specified in the notice.
