864. 01 Permit required.

No person shall interfere in any manner with any refuse, ashes, garbage or rubbish left for the purpose of collection by Municipal authorities or by persons under contract with the Township without first obtaining a permit therefor from the Secretary of the Board of Township Commissioners. In order to obtain a permit, as provided in Section 864. 01, the person desiring the permit shall make an application to the Township in writing and therein set forth his name, age and residence and such other information as from time to time the Township may prescribe in the application. (Ord. 98. Passed 8-7-50.)
The applicant shall agree that the permit may be revoked by the Board of Township Commissioners at any time for any reason or cause deemed proper by the Board of Health of the Township. (Ord. 98. Passed 8-7-50.)
864.04 EFFECTIVE PERIOD OF PERMITS.
All permits issued under this chapter shall expire on January 1 of the year after issuance. (Ord. 98. Passed 8-7-50.)
864.05 PERMIT FEE; PRORATION; EXEMPTIONS.
(a) The fee for the permit shall be twenty-four dollars ($24. 00) per year. Permits shall be issued for one-half fee after August 1 and one-quarter fee after November 1.
(b) All fees shall be paid for the use of the Township.
(c) Permits shall be issued free of any charge to charitable organizations. (Ord. 98. Passed 8-7-50.)
864.06 DISPLAY OF PERMIT NUMBER ON VEHICLES.
The permittee shall cause the number of his permit to be printed or painted in letters or figures not less than three inches in height on the front part of each side panel of any vehicle used. (Ord. 98. Passed 8-7-50.)
